Matt Lauer Terminated from "TODAY" Show

NBC has terminated Matt Lauer from the “Today” show.  Anchor Savannah Guthrie made the announcement at the start of this morning’s show that he was fired for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace,” reportedly back in 2014.  The network said it had a “detailed complaint from a colleague.”  The statement continued, “While it’s the first complaint about his behavior in the over twenty years he’s been at NBC News, we were also presented with reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.”

Bruno Mars has six GRAMMY nominations, including Record of the Year (“24K Magic”), Song of the Year (“That’s What I Like”), Album of the Year.  Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, and Kesha are all nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance.  Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Kesha, Lady Gaga, and Ed Sheeran are up for Best Pop Vocal Album.  And Alessia Cara nabbed nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo Performance (“Stay” with Zedd).  The GRAMMYs will air live from Madison Square Garden on CBS January 28th.  You can see the full list of nominees HERE!

Kelly Clarkson and Josh Groban will headline the 19th annual edition of “A Home for the Holidays,” which celebrates families whose lives have been changed through adoption.  The hour-long special will air on CBS December 19th.

Meghan Markle announced she will leave USA Network’s “Suits” after season seven following her royal engagement announcement.  Meantime, she and Prince Harry have a wedding date.  The pair will wed at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in May 2018.  The Royal Family will pay for the wedding.  More details still to come!
