Ed Sheeran will make a guest appearance on the next season of “Game of Thrones.” The show’s creator, David Benioff, said they have been trying to get Ed on the show for years.
Tyra Banks will replace Nick Cannon as the host of “America’s Got Talent.” Nick quit the NBC show last month. Tyra will join judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel when the show returns this summer.
Joni Sledge of the group Sister Sledge has died at the age of 60. According to the band’s rep, the singer was found in her Phoenix home by a friend. A cause of death has not yet been determined. Sister Sledge is most known for their 1971 hit “We Are Family.”
A scary moment for singer Ciara when she was involved in a car accident on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles. Ciara, who is pregnant in her third trimester, was driving when another car hit the right side of her SUV. Luckily no one was seriously injured. Her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, tweeted later that day that Mom and Baby were OK!
Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly considering a run for senate next year. Since the former California is done with “Celebrity Apprentice,” there’s been a lot of buzz about possibly running in 2018. His spokesman says, “Right now Governor Schwarzenegger’s focus is on using his platform to bring some sensibility and coherency to Washington by fighting for redistricting reform, like we did in California. We are keeping all of our options open as far as how we can accomplish that.”
There’s a new trailer out for “Wonder Woman,” starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, opening June 2nd.
